We are imperfect Christian ladies looking to be a light to those who need it most. Our goal is to encourage them through the discussion of life’s experiences with a faith-based perspective.
I am a young black millennial woman who loves the Lord and trap music. I fall on the spectrum between Beyoné and Future. I am from East Texas…Tyler born and raised. It has been an entertaining journey learning to balance work, family, friends and church. I enjoy playing in makeup and looking into the latest celebrity juice. I refer to Jeremiah 29:11 to keep balanced, “For I know the plans I have for you, say the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope.” I enjoy coffee and a dope playlist this country girl is living her dreams.
What about me…I am a Military brat so I can’t just say where I’m from. I got my start in Florida, we can go with that. My favorite stop along the way was Okinawa, Japan, but home is the DFW area now. College brought me here. I graduated from UTA with my BA in Social work. I have a heart for people. My hobbies are crafting and cooking. My favorite colors are denim and purple. If I could pick three words to describe me they would be kind, loving, and silly. If you ask me my reply would most likely be “Don’t move out of boredom.” My dream is to see every woman motivated in every season of their life, with a strong support team behind them. We are better together.
Hummmm, where do I start? Well, I was born and raised in the retirement state of Florida aka the gun shine state. I received my BS in Social Work from The Florida State University ( what I consider to be the best University in this nation, it’s not up for debate). I moved to Texas shortly after I graduated college and I have resided here for almost three years. I enjoy traveling because the world has so much to offer so why not enjoy it. On any given Saturday from September to January you can find me in front of the TV watching college football! “Go Noles”! I love to dance although I have no rythem what so ever. At the end of the day I am just a goofy black female on this fabulous journey Seeking God, Conquering Goals, and Living My Best Life!
Living life with a million irons in the fire gives me the opportunity to learn, grow and experience all that life has to offer. Born and raised in the DFW, I grew up with a sense of creativity from an early age. Never to far away from a coloring book, sketch pad or paints, I learned early in life that creativity was ministry. I attended Texas Woman’s University where I received a BFA and MA in Graphic Design. Since graduating, I’ve been living life to the fullest dreaming as if I will live forever and living as if I will die tomorrow. Focused on leaving a legacy that will out live me.
